APPROACH DATING – During the date
Okay folks, this part of the series is an exclusive (ladies I beg your pardon) male oriented. So then you asked that beautiful thing out. She in turn said yes. So now the big day arrives. The following is just a refresher course of a few advices that is time tested. Yes sir, you get this right, you would definitely have a good time. Read on ………
- Okay, you might holler DUH !! but let me tell you what our mums have been telling us boys since time immemorial. Get a bath! Seriously guys to be bathed, wearing clean clothes is just as bloody important as breathing. I mean dude you would not like the girl look like she jut came from her bed. Would you?
- Maybe you would want to set your watch five minutes faster to avoid being late. A sin unpardonable by the opposite sex I tell you. Even though it’s the birth right of a woman to be late , but for a man no no no.
- Okay so Hollywood has assured us how a loud mouth BAD GUY gets all the hotties. Real life if I may beg to differ is not exactly that. Majority of girls, I am sure a lot of you out there agree with me that good old Chivalry is still in vogue. So gentlemen go ahead and hold open that door for your lady.
- You see your date, first thing should not be Wassup ! or thanks for coming or heavens forbid ‘what an amazing weather’ !! just let it roll bro. Tell the lady how beautiful she looks, don’t compare her with anyone, who knows that’s the last person she would want to be compared to! Anyone would like to be appreciated if they put in effort in anything. So also if the girl takes time to look good, its important to leet her know that you noticed and that you appreciate it.
- Read somewhere that in a conversation between two people, the ratio of speaking should be 1:1 i.e. Both should try to speak equally, otherwise it does not remain a conversation. Conversion is a good way to know what type of a person is your date. You get to know the likes and dislikes of the person. This could help in the future if you continue to see each other again.
- Prepare what you would like to be talking during the date. You should make sure you are not forced to discuss the weather, unless its like the weather during The day After Tomorrow ! So think about potential topics that you would like to talk or maybe what you would like to know about her and vice versa. Don’t turn it into an interview. It should not be about previous relations and things that have nothing to do with her private life, atleastnot on the first date.
- Oh man, the paying part. Though its largely an accepted fact that, it’s the guy who must pay for the first date. These days one must make sure not to piss the lady off, you never know, you might get a bowl of soup all over you ! If the girl insists, then I would say you back off.
- Now that the date is over and you would like to go out with the person again, please do make sure that you make it clear. Nobody likes being left hanging. Its good to be honest and unambiguous.
- Thank her for the time and its totally safe to kiss her. Now hat would depend how the evening went. But a kiss on the cheek is definitely a go ahead.
