How do you know if the person loves you?

Well, does that person look at you in a special way? Does the person always wants to spend time with you, no matter what the situation is and never lets you down? Does he takes interest in each and every thing you say( no matter how stupid they are) and remember those little things you never expected him to remember about you? Does s/he try to express his/her feelings to you indirectly? If it looks like that s/he loves you then they probably love you!

But what basically is love?
Technically speaking, Love is a complicated emotion or feeling, unlike any other emotions or feelings we human have, the definition of love changes from person to person.Like everything in life, love is relative. It means many different things to many different people. Perhaps this is because it is only an idea. Everyone has different expectations, so it is very difficult to determine when a person has found his/her soulmate, the answer lies within you, you just need to find it within yourself, sometimes we look for answers every where but our heart. But there are some points which may help you hear your inner voice and take a decision

1. Love grows with time, Attraction Does not

You would have definately heard this phrase ” Love at first sight” about a million times throughout your life.. Be it any movie or your best friend’s reactionafter seeing your hot neighbour first time in the elevator. I personaly believe this is the second most untrue pseudo phrase I’ve heard in my life, the first one being ” An apple a day keeps the doctor away”. I personally believe nothing such as ‘ Love at first sight’ exists, what exist at first sight is mere attraction.. Let me give you an example seeing a person and getting attracted to him/her can be compared to that lovely white dress you saw at a store in the mall, you were instantly attracted to it, you did not waste a second before buying it, you wear this dress for several parties, but as time goes by this lovely white dress of yours is lying somewhere deep inside your closet, without you even noticing it. Love my friend is not a mere attraction, it is much much more than that, it is about making sense out of nonsense. It does not fade away with time, but it increases with every passing day, you never get bored of that purticular person and the way he talks and behaves, though the world may find some of his/her talks to be outrightly absurd, you seem to neverget enough of it. He/She may tell the same story day after day, but you never get bored listening to it. Love my friend is not like a dress you saw at a fancy store at the mall, but it is more like a not so fancy sweater that your granny gave you when you were young and you still have it nicely wrapped up in your cupboard and each time you see it you have a tear rolling down your eye. Love is Love is something that you grow into like a young child growing into teenager clothing. Love just don’t happen overnight, in one day or in one week for that matter. I think what you feel for each other in the beginning is more attraction and curiosity and with time it can change into love, but in order for true love to happen there has to be trust, honesty, sincerity and compassion in the relationship.That is the only way you really get to know that person and to know if that person really loves you.

2. Everyone can Show love, but can you feel it?

Love is something you are sure about there is no doubt. Its a strong feeling that you can’t explain, But you know its there, just because you can feel it. Everyone can show love but the million dollar question is CAN YOU FEEL IT?. You can buy flowers and chocolates for someone,”Oh! i have to get her flowers for her birthday or else….”. These activities which a person does primarily out of ‘guilt’ or ‘just for the sake of i’ are not counted as love. It is important to feel the love for a relationship to work, no matter how hard you try to work on a relationship as long as you, dont feel the love from within it wont work. Love is a mindset that commits one person to engage into actions that include sacrifice, respect and compromise for the purpose of benefiting the person being loved

3.Go for Love not Lust

They are carried out with respect to the other person. Without respect, there’s no love. Love is committment made in our cerebral cortex secondary
to a brief period of excitement generated by our pleasure-seeking center, hypothalamus. True love is a continual process over time; it is not the “fuzzy feelings” or the “intense physical chemistry/attraction”. Lust is a singular hormonal/emotional response driven by our pleasure seeking brain center. Love includes emotional response and actions. With only emotional responses, it’s mere lust and fantasy. It is essential to have a clear definition of what love emcompasses in one’s mind.It can avoid a lot of hurtful feelings and encounters in dating.

4. Sign of True love is friendship

Is this person your best friend? Because, if you two truely love each other, your time together will be like time spent between two best friends. Do you run around worried about what your best friend is doing? Do you ever question if you can trust your best friend? No! And that is the key. True love is when your lover is also your best friend. And that, I’m sorry to say, is very hard to achieve.LOVE is the feeling deep inside that tells you when you are apart that you desperately want to be back with your loved one. It is the feeling of wanting to be as one, together! One of the most important things is that this person should be your “best friend” and should always be considered before anyone else. They are your “world”, your “rock” and should be loved unconditionally 100% of the time. It is when you want to tell the world “I love this person and I want to grow old with this beautiful person”
